Dark November at Book Fairs - Spring 2024

I am pleased to announce that I will be featuring and signing books at two (2) book fairs in the Washington, DC - Baltimore area this spring — April and May 2024. You can meet me and get a signed copy of Dark November. I am also working on a collaboration with an artist to sell prints of original artwork based on scenes and characters from my book. See below for more information on both!

First up is the 17th Annual Kensington Day of the Book Festival on Sunday April 21, from 11 AM Eastern Time to 4 PM Eastern Time. The Kensington Book Festival describes itself as:

The Kensington Day of the Book Festival is a family friendly street festival, held rain or shine, spanning three blocks of Howard Avenue in the heart of historic Kensington. Come meet authors, poets, literary and community organizations. Live music on a few stages, special guest speakers, poetry readings, cookbook demos, children’s program, and much more. Not your average book festival! Now in its 17th year, this festival offers something for everyone!

In addition to the Kensington Book Festival, you will find me at the Gaithersburg Book Festival on Saturday May 18, 2024 from 10 AM Eastern time to 6 PM Eastern time.

The Gaithersburg Book Festival is located at Gaithersburg’s Bohrer Park, 506 S Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Here is a little more about the Gaithersburg Book Festival:

The Gaithersburg Book Festival is a celebration of the written word and its power to enrich the human experience. Our mission is to foster an interest in reading, writing and literary conversation.

Since its inception in 2010, the Festival has quickly become one of the nation’s top literary events, attracting hundreds of award-winning and best-selling authors, poets and songwriters from across the country to its beautiful park setting.

The event was conceived and introduced by Gaithersburg Mayor (then council member) Jud Ashman, with the support of the Mayor and City Council and the Cultural Arts Advisory Committee. The Festival is produced by a core committee comprised of city staff and a dedicated group of volunteers who donate their time and talent.

Funded in part by generous sponsors and supported by the City of Gaithersburg, the Festival offers programming for all ages, is free to attend and is open to everyone.

You can learn more at the Gaithersburg Book Festival website: https://www.gaithersburgbookfestival.org/

Please come out to both the Kensington Book Festival and the Gaithersburg Book Festival to meet me, chat about my next project, and buy a book. I will be sharing the AV Press tent with the Femme Project’s Heather M. who will be selling her book — Madame X Book 1.1 — and #RespectHerSex merchandise such as stickers, t-shirts, hoodies, buttons, and more!

Hope to see you there!
